At Magna College Ltd, we are fully committed to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity in all our operations. We uphold the highest standards in preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation — both within our organisation and across our supply chains.

This statement is made in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and reflects our commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights, UK Equality Act 2010, and international labour standards.

Our Commitments

We ensure that:

  • All employment is freely chosen – no forced or bonded labour
  • There is zero tolerance for child labour
  • Our working conditions are safe, hygienic, and lawful
  • Staff are paid at least the UK National Minimum or Living Wage
  • Working hours comply with the Working Time Regulations 1998
  • Freedom of association is respected – including trade union rights
  • Discrimination is not tolerated – in line with the Equality Act 2010
  • No one faces harassment, abuse, or coercion
  • All employment is contracted lawfully and transparently

Due Diligence in Our Supply Chain

We require our suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to:

  • Sign our Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Follow the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and EU human rights legislation
  • Demonstrate transparent, fair, and ethical labour practices
  • Maintain clear employment records and compliance policies

Our supply chain includes educational material providers, facility maintenance, recruitment partners, and third-party service providers.

Staff Training and Awareness

All relevant Magna College staff receive regular training in:

  • Modern slavery awareness
  • Ethical recruitment and safeguarding
  • Whistleblowing and escalation procedures
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion
  • UK GDPR and data protection obligations

Data Protection

We respect and protect personal data in full compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We do not allow data misuse that could enable exploitation or discriminatory profiling.
